Author and TV personality Carmen Rita Wong to visit Penn State Lehigh Valley

Carmen Rita Wong, former TV personality, co-creator and host of CNBC’s “On the Money,” and author and advice columnist for women’s magazines, will visit Penn State Lehigh Valley on Sept. 21 as part of the campus' Hispanic Heritage Month events. Free and open to the public, Wong will share stories from her memoir, "Why Didn't You Tell Me?" which focuses on family secrets and the lasting impact they can have on parents and children.

Honors students share projects inspired by study abroad trip to Scotland

Eight students in the course "World Mythologies and the Arts" at Penn State Lehigh Valley (PSU-LV) had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about some of the world’s most enduring myths during a weeklong trip to Scotland earlier this semester. During the trip, students conducted primary research for a capstone video project, the results of which were recently shared with the PSU-LV community.
